NAWA! Lady Gaga's Family Restaurant May Be Closed Down Due To Rat Infestation

In the New York City Department of Health’s most recent report, inspectors have discovered ''evidence of mice or live mice present in facility’s food and/or non-food areas of Joanne Trattoria in NYC".

Joanne Trattoira is the name of Joe Germanotta's restaurant. Joe is the father of American pop singer, Lady Gaga and the family restaurant was opened in 2012. Well now, the family restaurant located in New York is facing risk of being shut down after health inspectors found rats living in the kitchen.

Reports say that 'Joanne Trattoria Resturant,' has survived bad reviews and poor health inspection grades since opening in 2012 but the conditions have apparently gone from bad to worse since then.

In the New York City Department of Health’s most recent report, inspectors discovered ''evidence of mice or live mice present in facility’s food and/or non-food areas. Facility not vermin proof. Harborage or conditions conducive to attracting vermin to the premises and/or allowing vermin to exist.''

The Upper West Side restaurant was also criticized for hot and cold food items not meeting safe temperature requirements, a lack of Food Protection Certificates, and sanitation issues.

In addition, ''Food contact surface was not properly washed, rinsed and sanitized after each use,”
Radar Online also reports that the violations were considered “critical” and typed in red and were given a “Grade Pending” result, after being slapped with a “C” back in 2012.

If the restaurant will be shot down for good is still unclear.
