Bavaria's Koenigssee lake is rumored to hold Nazi treasures. But officials said the ingot was from a different period.
The 16 year old holidaymaker was swimming in the German lake when she saw the ingot 2 meters below the lake glimmering, she then decided to check it out and found out it was pure Gold.
She however returned the 500g worth of Gold back to the police who on their part are planning on using modern technology to discover who the real owner is because the serials has been scratched off.
