Redeemed Church Pastor Kidnapped During Service Freed

The Redeemed Christian Church pastor who was abducted by hoodlums, last Sunday during church service, was released by his captors over the weekend.

According to report, Pastor Ayo Funsho Rapheal was taken to somewhere along Lokoja at midnight and asked to go home. Luckily, Pastor Ayo was able to find his way to the church where other pastors were holding a vigil for his release.

Although the kidnappers earlier demanded a ransom of N50 million for his release, it is yet to be confirmed if any amount was paid for his release.

MUST READ: Female Students Reveal How They Were Drugged & R*ped

Bimbo Coker’s (real name withheld) first day on campus was full of apprehension. It was expected.

As a 15yrs old who had spent all her primary and secondary school education at private schools in Osun State, she had never left the sight of her parents, not even for a day. All through her primary and secondary schooldays, she was known to be a quiet, obedient “mummy’s girl.”

In the church on Sundays, she sat where her parents sat, and left for home when service was over. No time to play with friends after the grace was shared. During the holidays and weekends, her - both educationists - got her tutors to groom her academically. She is the only girl among five children.

After sitting for WAEC and making distinctions and credits in all nine subjects she sat for, she gained admission to study Biochemistry at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria.

Since her mum’s friend’s daughter, who was 10 years older than her, was a final year student of at the same university, her parents did not bother seeing her off to the school...

After all, she was going to be an adult someday and sort out things on her own, they thought, perhaps.

After some pep talk on the day she was travelling to Ogbomoso in 2008, her parents let their ‘little bird’ fly. It would be her first experience outside home.

“Ordinarily, they never left me on my own for the first 14 years of my life. My parents were always there for me,” she told our correspondent in December 2015 at a church-organised seminar in Lagos city, where she now works as a customer care officer at a telecommunications firm.

But on this particular night, they were not there for her.

Her mum’s friend’s daughter — who she called her “school mum” — was, however, too busy with her final year project that she had no time for her to put her through the school system as the one-week orientation for freshers was not enough for her to grasp how the university system works.

“Eventually, I had to be on my own. I had to start acting like a lady and not a girl anymore, so I felt I should stop disturbing her. She was busy with her project and I couldn’t be the reason why she wouldn’t be able to concentrate,” Coker said. “But I still needed help. I had never been in a wide system like that before. Some things were confusing. I was able to meet with other freshers like me, and so we helped one another.”

Days flew by and registration period was about ending.

It was during one of the days she had to fill the course form and submit to the department that she met a 400-Level tall dark coursemate, Wale (not his real name), “who appeared to be a God-sent angel. He helped me out on almost everything,” she recalled.

From assistance, to resistance, then force
Coker told PUNCH that though she was embittered, she had decided to let go of what happened between Wale and her — for the sake of her own inner peace.

She narrated, “We soon became good friends. Though he was 14 years older than me, I was not bothered. He was like a big brother to me in school. I grew up among boys, so I felt comfortable with him. He would help me out on anything — how to approach lecturers, how to choose which course to offer when it came to selective ones, and so on. He was very friendly with me. Moreover, we attended the same campus fellowship and he played drums.

“He would help me with some assignments. Yeah, He is brilliant and read a lot then. It was even his seriousness that attracted him to me in the first place. I love a serious guy and meeting him that day and discussing with him afterwards, I couldn’t help but become his friend.

“There was a time I felt that I should caution myself because the closeness was getting too much. He noticed my behaviour and asked me why I was getting scared of him. Of course, I was a virgin then and I ought to. However, he told me he had a girlfriend, a then-300-Level Food Science and Engineering student. That put my mind at rest a bit. At least he wouldn’t betray the trust of the other lady, I assumed.”

Then the night came
In January 2009, after resuming from the Christmas and New Year holidays, he was the first person to say hello to her at her hostel in the Adenike Area of the school.

“He was calling me almost every day during the holidays, asking me when I would resume. He said he would be excited to see me again in the new year and asked what I was going to bring for him while coming. My mum used to sell provisions apart from teaching, so I told him I was going to bring some for him. He was thankful. Due to his much perseverance and because I wanted to resume early too so I could start preparing for exams, I got back to school in the first week of January,” Coker said, resting her arms on a shiny mahogany table in the church office where she shared her story.

During the first week of resumption in most tertiary institutions, only a few students usually get back to school as most wait till the second or third week, observations have shown.

No serious academic activity takes place during this period, except for pleasantries, gists and discussions among hostel and coursemates who resume early.

It was around 7pm when she heard the knock that day.

Coker said, “I didn’t think he was coming again because he had promised to come and see me by 1pm. Only about three of us had resumed in my hostel and the two others were not around. When I heard the knock, I thought they were my hostel mates who had also promised to come and visit me.

“I opened the door only to see Mr. Wale, flashing his teeth in the dark. We greeted and he entered. He apologised for coming late and I gave him what I brought for him. He said he was grateful and gave me a hug.”

The hug was the genesis of the incident that took place thereafter.
Coker said, “He didn’t leave me afterwards and I was like, ‘What’s going on?’ Before I knew it, he had started touching my body, my breasts and buttocks. I removed his hands, but he resisted. I resisted too and before I could say anything again, he got me into bed. I said ‘no’, but he wasn’t listening again. He r*ped me.

“After that night, I regret ever knowing him. He deflowered me and I felt like killing him. I saw him once after the incident, before he left for internship, and he tried so well to avoid me. When he was back, he was in 500-Level while I had got to 200-Level, he greeted me once and the second time we met at a departmental function, he called me aside and apologised.”

Our correspondent asked whether she reported the incident to the school authorities, but Coker said she was too afraid to do that as a fresher.

“One, I didn’t know who to report to or who would help me. Two, I didn’t want anybody, including my parents, to know about it. It just had to stay with me. He left me that night in sorrow, piercing my heart, but I asked God to avenge for me,” she said.

Six years after the incident, PUNCH asked Coker whether she had moved on.
“He called me sometime ago and apologised for what happened that night. I could hear him weeping at the other end of the phone. He said it was the devil’s work and that he was overwhelmed that night. He said the devil got hold of him and that he had never been himself again thereafter. He said he had no peace and wanted my forgiveness. He pleaded with me. Well, I forgave him and at least my heart had been free from it ever since. However, the experience has made me never to trust any man again. I can’t be in a secluded place with only you, for instance,” she told our correspondent.

Coker agreed her story be published to make female freshers in tertiary institutions learn from her and to appeal to the Federal Government to enforce laws against rape, which had become “the sons of the devil’s hobby.” She also didn’t object to her picture being used in this story if blurred.

Citadels of learning turning to rapists’ dens
Coker’s story wouldn’t be the first of its kind to take place in a Nigerian tertiary institution — it’s only that she was bold to share hers.

The term “October rush” is a slogan used for the chasing of female freshers by senior male students in tertiary institutions in the country.

Most institutions in Nigeria resume academic activities for the first semester in October of every year, except where striking actions or other factors have disrupted the academic calendar year.

“October rush” is a phenomenon, according to guys who know very much about it, whereby senior male students anticipate to make new female friends, then finding one to make a girlfriend — for a year or two.

A 2009 graduate of the University of Lagos, who asked not to be named, said, “Most guys anticipate October rush every year. You get to know new babes who don’t know anything or much about the school system yet. You meet them at departmental orientation programmes, hostels, and the likes. They flood everywhere, and from the way they look, you’ll know they’re really fresh.

“They’ve not been battered by the stress of exam or lectures; they know nothing. Guys offer to help them out in doing certain things like registration and become friends in the process. I had a girlfriend too who was a fresher at a point in time, but I never forced anything on her. She calls me occasionally up till now because we are still friends. If I had hurt her then, she would never be doing that. Everything we did was consensual. I can’t say that about others.”

Truly, he can’t say that about other senior male students at UNILAG and elsewhere.

When she gained admission to study Accounting in 2010 at the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, and was offered assistance on course registration, hostel accommodation, among others, Bella didn’t know her new-found male friend was going to drug her juice weeks after in order to sleep with her.

She thought her mum’s prayer that she would find favour on and off-campus was the one working when she left Uyo and travelled all the way down to Auchi to study.

“I didn’t know the ‘son of the devil’ was interested in me, really. I thought he was only helping. He was in Higher National Diploma 1, and I had just gained admission, so I didn’t feel awkward. I thought he was nice,” Bella, who now resides in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, told our correspondent on the phone.

She added, “Before I did this, he would help me; before I did that, he was there. I actually felt relieved because if not for his guidance, it would have taken long for me to adapt to the system, but for him, it took a short time.

“To repay his kindness, anytime he visited me on weekends, I would cook for him and make him feel at home. I didn’t know I was putting myself in trouble — until a day came when he pleaded with me to come and cook the kind of food I gave him in his hostel. It never occurred to me he had a sinister motive. I thought I was being a good girl for accepting his plea and returning his help.

“So on a particular weekend, I visited him and he was very happy. He said the day he had been waiting for had finally come. I didn’t understand that statement because I thought he was simply overwhelmed with happiness by my presence.

“Being a junior student and seeing him as a big brother, I collected money from him to go to the market and when I returned, he had brought out a packet of juice from his fridge. He said he knew I would be tired and thirsty after returning from the market to cook for him, so he poured me a cup.

“I drank the juice, not knowing that he had injected sleeping pill into it. After some minutes, I started feeling dizzy and weak and didn’t know when I landed on his bed. I was no longer aware of what was happening, but I felt him undressing me. I couldn’t move an inch. Some hours later, I woke up and knew I had been r*ped. He had gone out, pretending not to be around while I was sleeping. I ran out of his room and up till today, he never appears to be remorseful. I pray he pays for what he did to me.”

A culture of r*pe
R*pe occurs both on and off the campus. Campus s*xual assault is the s*xual assault of a student attending an institute of higher learning, such as a college or university, though less than 40 per cent of reported incidents occur on campus property, according to statistics.

S*xual assault of higher education students occurs more frequently against women but unfortunately, many victims completely or partially blame themselves for the assault. They are embarrassed by the shame, and for fear of not being believed, do not report.

As remarked in one study, “Women generally do not report their victimisation, in part because of self-blame or embarrassment.”

A Lagos-based activist who offers counselling to domestically- and s*xually-abused women in Nigeria, Mrs. Modupe Bamgboye, told PUNCH that at times she wonders why men still r*pe girls and women “in an age when s*x is cheap.”

She added, “I just don’t get it when I hear r*pe cases here and there. I mean, it is overwhelming and I just don’t understand what this society has turned to. People who want to have s*x could patronise prostitutes if they want, but they should stop forcing girls to having s*x with them.”

See Revelations About Ladies Who Are Secret Prostitutes

These days I laugh whenever I see guys who meet a new girl with big phones, wearing tight trouser and a top that's showing her boobs and want to dump their real girlfriend because of this new 'fine girl'.

What such guys don't really know is that they are just a number on the girl's list, nothing close to boyfriend. In fact, such babes don't get emotional, they are all about "business" - I need money girls!

Guys, stay with your loyal girlfriend and forget about flashy babes. See revelations below...

Things are not always what they seem to be at the surface level, so there is a need for you to 'shine your eyes' before being caught buying the counterfeit. Here are features of a runs girl to avoid:

Always wearing heavy make-ups:
They are always desperate to create an impression wherever they go. This leads to obviously heavy and colourful make-ups that mayn't even rhyme at all. The 'foundation' could be so strong like she wants to erect a building on her face. Laughs!

Awkward piercings:
These set of ladies pierce their nose with rings attached. Their ears carry multiple piercings too. Some bold ones go as far as rocking nose rings to claim to be fashionable.

Breast display:
As goods are displayed on shelves in the shopping mall, so also the runs girls flash their 'selling points' i.e their area of strength for prospective buyers. They make sure you can have a vivid look of what you are up against like the massive boobs, big bum and exposure of the tummy or waist.

Funny Tattoos:
Most decent and well-cultured ladies don't draw tattoos. Most 'marketers' are fond of conspicuous tattoos which are positioned at strategic points for you to feed your eyes and get attracted.

Bleached skin:
A fair lady gets more attention and is easily noticeable than a dark one. Runs girls don't joke with bleaching. The skin is unnecessary white while the fingers, toes and knuckles stand out black with the intention to break away like Biafra. Laughs!

Runs girls love expensive phones with busy lines:
When a lady's phone rings incessantly like she is a customer-care agent and you know she isn't even selling anything; my guy, she is into 'E-commerce' like Jumia delivering the assumed and the social media is likely her booking office - her body is for the highest bidder, not just you. Run!

When you keep calling her phone and introducing yourself severally:
Runs girls have several men to deal with. They hardly store numbers until they are sure you have the will to do business. They easily lose track of the identity of their callers and you get poised to re-introduce yourself over and over anytime you call. Some pretend they know you until you say something they remember. Na Olosho o!

She disappears mysteriously like the 2016 national budget Friday nights:
Friday nights are sacred nights when the 'god of koboko' is worshiped by hardworking men that must have been engaged productively throughout the week. On a night like this, a hot runs girl must have been booked by the highest bidder; hence if your new girlfriend disappears on Friday just know you are on your own.

She is a likely 'selling it' if she spends the entire day sleeping and heads out every night:
Runs girls have opposite working schedules, they leave for work when others are returning, and go on recess when others are at work like 'Edo witches' (na joke oh).

Guys, this is to help those of you who like to leave your good girl for flashy girls, stop deceiving yourself as that flashy girl is not what you need for your life, don't confuse you want for a need. Be guided!

Wife Catches her Sister Sleeping with her Husband, Strips Her

The wife has been asking her younger sister who has been buying expensive phone and clothes for her and yet she has not brought any man to the house as her boyfriend and lover since coming to Lagos to stay with she and her husband. Funny enough, the sister kept dodging the questions.

But it all started making sense to the woman when a friend told her that she was suspecting her sister and her hubby, a building contractor, due to some 'moves' she saw them making secretly...

It all ended last weekend, according to the source who sent the gist to YourGist247.Com when the woman told them she was going to the shop and will go to Lagos Island market to buy some goods to restock. Her sister and husband saw the long trip as another opportunity to do the unimaginable.

But the woman was very much in the area...in less than 15 minutes after she left home, her husband and sister were already in some serious action, dancing "kere wawa" in the room. No be small thing oh!

The wife tried to force the bedroom door open but her husband blocked it until her sister wore her pants. The madam still grabbed the sister and gave her the beating of her life, with both almost going nude.

WONDERFUL! Couple Gets Quadruplets After 8yrs of Trying to Have A Child

Their story resonates loudly of how much faith in human existence could work. Married in 2007, Mr and Mrs Ololade Samson Olusola never knew that they would wait for eight years before having children from their loins. The fruit of the womb in many climes remarkably is the high point of any marital union.
While some are wont to adopt children, a good number of couples prefer to have their own children. Both in pristine and modern African settings, barrenness is frowned at. The stigma, the frustration and the societal victimization are in themselves worrying for those who are yet to have children.

It is therefore against this backdrop that one can appreciate the repeated dissatisfaction that attended the union of the Olusolas. The children were not forthcoming.
Yet, for them, they had no other choice but to trust entirely in God.

In an interaction with Nigerian Tribune, the father of the newborns stated that “We got married on March 10, 2007. I am a civil servant and so also is my wife. We never expected that we would wait this long to have children. We tried all we could both medically and spiritually. It is disturbing that here in Africa, a marriage that does not produce children is seen as unsuccessful.

“After the first few years without any child, people said all kinds of things. But my wife was very resolute that God would take charge of our situation. We kept taking the different medications that we were given. The year 2015 became significant because that was the year that my wife got pregnant. When we went for the scan and were told that she was carrying four babies, I was shocked. But there was nothing that I could do but to pray that my wife and children are fine after the delivery. I was advised that considering the number of babies to be expected, it would be safe to register for ante-natal treatment at OSUTH. We were told by the doctors that it was possible that just two or three could survive. But we prayed that none of them would die.

“When the babies came in November last year, we knew that the implication of their birth would be financial. Whatever we buy must be in fourfold. I can’t query God for this. But we need all the financial support that we can get in raising the children.”

Speaking on the various forms of assistance that the family had gotten since the birth of the babies, he stated that “Friends, family members have been tremendous in assisting us. We understand that things are difficult but we are very grateful for what people have been giving us. We do realize that the entire world is going through economic recession but people have been wonderful to us. We are grateful to the Methodist Church in Nigeria. We are grateful to Winners Church. They have assisted us in no great measure. We are also grateful to Obafemi Owode Local Government Area in Ogun State for helping us. The health sector there also sent us money. Even the health sector in Ikenne Local Government Area also assisted us in no small measure.”

He also added that the reason that they did not initially call for help was because the mother of the children was still undergoing treatment at the hospital. “We couldn’t go public at the initial stage when the children were born because my wife was re-admitted at the hospital for about a month because she needed to get well properly. But she is well now which is why we decided to make the birth of the children public and ask for help. They were born on November 6, 2015. We want people to come and assist us in the area of the children’s education and in their upkeep. The firstborn is Ifeoluwa, the second is Oluwapemisire, the third is Anuoluwa and the fourth is Temiotan. They were all born on the same day through a C-section. They are two boys and two girls. The first is a girl; the second a boy; the third is a girl and the last is a boy,” he said.

Looking quite exhausted when she spoke with the Nigerian Tribune, the mother of the babies, Mrs Samson Olusola stated that while she didn’t expect the number of the children to be four, she was however grateful to God for the safe delivery, noting that the challenge before them was how to raise the four of them.

According to her, “When we got married and we could not have babies, people said all kinds of things but my husband and family stood by me. I was introduced to all kinds of drugs and even prayers. Eight years can be described as long when waiting to get pregnant and give birth to a baby. They are four of them. We thank God. I am grateful to God for the delivery. All we are saying is seeking the help of good Nigerians in taking care of the children. I know that God gave them to us and he will send help in taking care of them.”

The elder sister to the father of the children, Mrs Akinwale Omotola who was with the family when Nigerian Tribune visited, appealed for support for the family, just as she added that for those who are yet to have children in their marriages, there is a big possibility that the miraculous could still happen.

“I am the elder sister to the father of the quadruplets. It is wonderful what God did for the family. But the challenge is to take care of the children. I am yet to have a child after marriage but I am using this medium to tell everyone who is expecting that God can still do the impossible. We need all the help in taking care of the children,” she said.

In an interaction with a medical expert on the likelihood of such multiple births and the reasons,

Dr Stephen Ayodele Adewole, senior lecturer at the Ondo State University of Medical Science stated that the use of fertility drugs could be a pre-disposing factor.

According to him, “Well, the use of fertility drugs is a possible pre-disposing factor but it is by no means a reason why such women give birth to more than one after a long wait. Age is the most determining factor here; the older the woman, the more likely the occurrence of such.”

For Dr Moses Rotimi, a fellow of the West African College of Surgeon, consultant of Obstetrics and gynaecology and the Medical Director of Delight Hospital and Fertility Centre, Challenge, Ibadan, “If they’ve been using drugs, that is to say they’ve gone for IVF. Some eggs are selected for fertilisation and in most cases, it could be an average of three. But sometimes, the patient could say the number she wishes to have. If eventually all the eggs are fertilised, it becomes what you see, which could be the woman having two or more babies at once. Again, because of the age in consideration, when a woman that has waited for 10 or more years after marriage eventually conceive, age may not be on her side to get more children and the moment they successfully conceive about three at a time, then, it’s once and for all.”

NB: The parents of the children can be reached on 08034017425, 08058869237 or 08028211694.

Abuja Prophet Predicts Death Of A Nollywood Star Actress In 2016

3282109_omale_webp
Dashing General Overseer of the Abuja based Divine Hand of God Prophetic Ministries, Prophet Emmanuel Omale, who had Jim Iyke as his best man when he wedded years back has called for prayers to prevent the violent death of a top Nollywood female star.

He said if fervent prayers aren’t offered the star would either die in a deadly road accident, an armed robbery attack or of high blood pressure.

He also said a former Governor’s wife in the South-South should pray against bereavement and detection of terminal illness. The Prophet also declared that he sees many billionaires crying as many of them would fall in the year.

According to him, many of those who made their money through dubious means would end up in jail while new and younger billionaires would rise up to replace them.

On Boko Haram, he said the power of the group has been greatly reduced, but a top military boss may die in combat.

In fact he has advised Nigerians to take President Muhammadu Buhari’s war against corruption seriously.

This is as he warned that two newly appointed ministers be careful about getting involved in a financial scandal that will see them being sacked and jailed.

The young seer who correctly predicted the emergence of Bala Ngilari as Adamawa State governor, among other accurate predictions also said two serving Senators should pray against scandalous revelations which could lead to heart attack.

Omale equally said that he saw billions of naira embezzled from the past government being returned openly and that there will be 17 months of prosperity for Nigeria as oil price improves.

See 5 Doubtless Steps That Will Make You Last Longer During Se x (MUST READ)

FOR A GIRL, MULTIPLE ORGASMS ARE A FUN THING TO EXPERIENCE.

But when you’re a guy, ej-aculating too soon can spell doom for your se x life.

As a guy, premature ej-aculation can leave you feeling frustrated, dejected and arm-twist you into losing all your confidence when it comes to matters of the bedroom

It’s unfortunate that you have to deal with this, but fret not because there are really fun ways to learn to last longer in bed. All it takes is a bit of effort and a bit of time.

If you want to last longer during se x and you’re not really suffering from a medical condition, then these tips will definitely help you last a lot longer. What you need to remember is that, the experience of se x is more in the head than in between your legs.

#1 OVER-EXCITEMENT.
Avoid aggressive or wild angry se x. When you lose control of your erec-tion, that’s when you lose the erec-tion completely. Try to indulge in calm, slow and r0man-tic se x. By avoiding fast and aggressive se x, you’d be able to last longer because you won’t experience a sudden burst of se x-ual energy in an instant.

#2 TAKE CONTROL OF SE X.
When two people have se x, the one on top is usually in control of movement. So try to spend more time on top. When you’re on top, you can slow down or stop moving completely when you feel like you’re on the verge of eja-culating. By holding back when you feel like eja-culating, you can last a lot longer because you’re in control of the se x.

#3 SHIFT YOUR WEIGHT.
When you’re on top of your girl and feel like you’re going to blow out, place your forearms on either side of her and shift your body weight onto your arms. Stop moving in and out and just wait for your little guy to feel relaxed again. You’ll be able to push ahead within a few seconds.

#4 BE IN SYNC WITH YOUR PARTNER.
This is where your lover can help you. If she ever feels you throbbing when you’re inside of her, tell her to avoid moving too aggressively or even stop moving completely so you can regain control. At times, as hard as you try, you do need some help from your woman to make se x last longer.

#5 CONTROL THE SURROUNDING.
Have se x in a comfortable place where you won’t feel overexcited. Completely avoid anything that’s too exciting like public se x or anything else that turns you on a lot. If you feel most relaxed in your bed, stick to the bedroom until you get better control of yourself.

Pastor Adeboye of RCCG Shocks Everyone as He Talks about His Impending Death

The annual Holy Ghost Congress of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) ended with cold biblical references by the General Overseer, Pastor E.A Adeboye about death which left his audience in cold shock.

Millions of worshippers in attendance roared in disapproval as Pastor Adeboye, hinted at his possible passing.

The one-week programme ended on Saturday, with a three-in-one service, comprising anointing, communion and impartation. Ministering on the transfer of anointing, Adeboye said he would not be too young at 73 to go back to his creator. He would be 74 in March.

He was explaining why the transferred anointing is always more potent than the index case, using Moses and Elijah as examples. Using the scripture, Adeboye pointed that where Moses, who got his anointing directly from God failed, Joshua, who got his fire from Moses, excelled.

He also cited the case of Prophet Elijah who performed 7 miracles while Elisha who got his anointing from Elijah when God was taking him away, performed 14 miracles.

Adeboye equally explained that the beneficiaries got the transferred anointing when their masters were about passing away.

He said he would anoint his wife and other very senior pastors who, in turn, would anoint other pastors, from where the worshippers would experience their own anointing fire.

After the explanation, he looked at the congregation and said:

“you may be wondering if I am about to go. Will it be too early for a 73-year-old man to die? If I go now, who will say it is too early? ”

At this point, the worshippers, who were at the beginning rejecting his passing in a murmur, roared their disapproval loudly from all the four corners of the new auditorium.

Smiling, Adeboye added, “I am not too young to die.” Again, the crowd screamed their disapproval.

He later calmed everyone down, saying:

“okay, it is not now (I’m not dying now).”

To which the crowd roared a thunderous “Amen.”

Ashawo Ladies Too Want To Enter Church?

In what is reminiscent of the biblical five foolish virgins who were locked out of the feast of the bridegroom, some commercial sex workers hoping to get into church late for prayers ringing in the New Year were shut out by security at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Akure.

Many prostitutes who ‎had attempted to sneak in for last minute grace got the shock of their lives as they were prevented from entering the church by the gatemen. But why did they stop the ladies?

According to Sunshine Times, there are many brothels around Sacred Heart Cathedral which cater to the needs of men in search of quick s*xual favours. It is the custom of the ladies to make a late dash into the church in order to crossover into the new year.

However, this year would be different and the incident ‎caused a bit of commotion at the gate as many other people including revellers from adjoining bars were also affected by the action of the gate men who were trying to ensure that "negative" characters did not sneak into the service.

One of the security men was heard murmuring: “Na God catch dem today. Dem too like to always rush into church at dying minute. Where dem dey before, yeye people.”

But some of the affected ladies said it was their personal business to come to church at their own time.

“They should not stop us from entering at any time we like, this is God’s house for crying out loud,” said one of the ashawo babe who simply identified herself as Tina.

How some Ladies are destroying their Marriage without knowing

If you are one of those ladies who no longer respect people who are older than you because of the things you see in social media then you can't be my friend; I will keep you at bay. Respect for ones elders is one of the cardinal principles I learn from my parents and I live by that. Many marriages are failing today because women want to be equal with men blindly, hence some men are just dying in silence.
Read this interesting eye-opener from a married woman...
When I got married, I was amazed at the instant, overwhelming sense of responsibility I felt to love and care for my husband. Suddenly, a huge part of someone else’s well-being and happiness was largely affected by my choices and actions.

Women, we need to be careful about how we are caring for our husbands and marriages. Don’t let the small stuff ruin the things that will bring you the greatest happiness in life.

Here are just a few ways you might be unknowingly destroying your husband and killing your marriage.

1. Living outside of what you can afford
A wise old woman from my church congregation once advised: “The best thing you can do as a wife is to live within your husband’s means.”

Wives, show sincere appreciation and respect to your husband by carefully following a budget and making the most of what you have. Be wise about your finances.

Constantly complaining about not having enough to fulfill your lavish desires or racking up astronomical amounts of debt for yourself and your husband is a poor way of saying “thank you” to a faithful spouse who works hard every day to provide for the family.

Yes, you may not have enough to buy that deigner shoes or bag you’ve had your eyes on recently, but your husband will love and appreciate the fact that you honor him and are grateful for what he provides.

2. Constant negativity
You hate your hair, the messes around the house, the neighbor across the street, your dumb co-worker, the old dishwasher, and everything in between. As soon as your husband walks through the door, you launch into action and dump every negative and angry thought that’s crossed your mind.

Can you imagine having to carry that burden? Negativity is draining. Men like to fix things, and constantly being hounded with complaints makes it difficult for him to help solve your pains.

If there is one thing I’ve learned from marriage is that a good man wants you to be happy, and if he can’t help you do that, it makes him unhappy.

3. Putting everything else first
When your children, mom, best friends, talents, or career in front of your husband, you send a clear message to him that he is unimportant. Imagine having that message sent to you every day for many years. What would that do to your self esteem?

Put your husband first! Although it sometimes seems counter-intuitive and counterproductive, I think you’d be amazed to find that it’s often the key to the greatest happiness in marriage. So many couples get divorced these days, because of neglect and to a large extent disrespect.

If you choose to put him first, you will find a lot of joy.

4. Withholding physical affection
Men crave and need physical affection with their wives. When you constantly decline intimacy, it wears on them. Sex should not be used as a tool to control your spouse; it should be viewed as a sacred tool to draw you closer to one another and to God.

It is a great blessing to be wanted and needed by a loving, romantic husband who wants to share something so beautiful and important with you — and you only. Even though you might not always be in the mood, it’s worth it to give in (unless you are sick) and spend that time bonding.

5. Not speaking his language
Don’t waste your time giving subtle hints that he won’t understand: Speak plainly to him. Be honest about your feelings, and don’t bottle things up until you burst. If he asks you what’s wrong, don’t respond with “nothing” and then expect him to read your mind. Be open to your man and grow your marriage.

Pray For President Buhari – TB Joshua Reveals 2016 Prophecies

wpid-tb-joshua
There will be large scale scarcity, shortage of food. As a state, country, continent, we have to go back to the farm to arrest, to alleviate the forthcoming situation.

Some countries will suffer excessive rainfall while others will suffer drought.

I encourage the governments of all nations to invest in agriculture and to grant loans to deserving citizens to augment this effort.

The continent of Africa. How much have we disappointed God.

Africa is supposed to be the breadbasket of the world. We are supposed to produce a large quantum of food for the world.

This is our natural resource base. Food should be our primary export to other continents. Food in exchange for technology.

Politics
African leaders should quickly arrest the political situation.

More African countries will be under siege by terrorists because of pros and cons in choosing leaders.

Mishandling of electoral processes will create a conducive atmosphere for terrorists.

Politics will not be business as usual because of limited resources. There will be no profit in investing in politics because of governments’ limited resources and challenges.

This now gives grace to those who are genuinely called to the job. When you are genuinely called to do the job, you will do it because of your love for it and not because of money.

This year, do what you love. There’s money in love. Money in love brings peace and tranquility.

Pray for President Buhari
He has good intentions. A king’s intentions cannot be carried out properly without the support of the subjects. He needs your support, to lead us out of the valley.

The president will do everything to reject revaluation of the naira – which is a good idea from a good leader.

But there will be overwhelming pressure which he will not be able to resist.

Nigerians, support and pray for your leader. The future is crying for help.

My Sister's Desperation Made Her Have S*e*x With My Husband

Isn't it amazing what torrent of scandal a little event like being pregnant can unleash on a family?
For the four years Lisa was married to Lekan, she tried all she could to get pregnant. At first she thought it was due to her reproductive organs malfunctioning. After series of tests, it was Lekan’s turn to have his fertility investigated. It was an awful blow to the couple when he got the news he had a low sperm count.

“Lisa was devastated,” Funke, her elder sister and a mother of three children had said after she got the news: “I wish I could do something to help my sister..."

"Do something like what?"

“Get another man to perform the magic her husband couldn’t?” A few months later, Funke had come to me, a bit angry and confused.

“Lisa came for dinner last night with Lekan,” she said. “I was in the kitchen sorting out the dirty plates when Lekan crept up behind me, pressing hard against my back, he whispered: ‘Don’t you realise how much I want you?’ Horrified, I pushed him away and rushed back to the others. I’d thought that would be the end of it, but it wasn’t. Some few weeks later, I bumped into him at a supermarket near the house and he suggested we went to the nearest fast-food spot to have a bite. He said he was desperate to talk to me.

“At first I hesitated, but he was my brother-in-law afterall. He and Lisa had been married for a while and they seemed happy in spite of their ‘problem’. Over lunch, he explained he’d been quite depressed after he’d been told of his low sperm count. That’s why I had behaved badly at your house,’ he said. `I guess I was trying to prove I was a man.’

I felt really sorry for him and tried to console him. A few months after this incident, Lekan phoned me and it was obvious he was in a dreadful state. Kunle, my husband, was on night shift at work, so when Lekan begged me to come over to his place, I agreed. He was in a sorry state when I got to his place. He said he suspected his wife was having an affair, and after a mighty row, he’d hit her and she’d left to go to her mum’s.

“As I made the right soothing sound, he poured out his heart, told me how strained his marriage had become. I felt myself sympathising with him, even though I felt disloyal to my sister. Two bottles of wine later, I was the one revealing worries about my marriage. My own husband, Kunle, had been a bit preoccupied of late and I told Lekan he too might be having an affair. He shook his head in disbelief as I told him Kunle seldom paid me attention. ‘I don’t understand how anyone could neglect a beautiful, kind, loving woman like you”, he sympathised. Before I knew it, we were all over each other... months of frustration were released as our bodies got entwined. The s*x was the most fulfilling I’d had for months.

“I didn’t feel any guilt, especially when Kunle wasn’t home when I arrived. He’d given some of his suspicious excuses on the answering machine. So, it was with little or no guilt that I continued my affair with my brother-in-law. Each time Lisa phoned for a chat, or to visit the house, I fobbed her off in case my secret was revealed if I saw her face-to-face. Then came the news that Lisa was finally pregnant. I was really happy for her as I hugged and congratulated her. She didn’t seem all that happy to see me but I put it down to her current state. Or did she suspect I was sleeping with her husband? She couldn’t have, we’d been really careful.

“Lisa was almost due when I ran into a close relative who worked as a matron in a private hospital. I hadn’t seen her for ages and she was full of praise for my husband who introduced Lisa to their hospital. ‘He even brought her a few times,’ she blabbed,’ and helped with some of her bills. I tried to introduce myself to him but he was always busy with the hospital’s director who was his friend. I’m glad Lisa’s finally pregnant.' On and on she went. The way she kept peering at me, I knew she was dying for me to give something away. Condemn my husband’s behaviour perhaps? Or let on I knew nothing about Kunle’s involvement with Lisa’s pregnancy? Why on earth would he put himself out so much for her?

“When I got home, Kunle was out as usual. Gave me enough time to look through all his things. Eventually, I found one or two bills from the hospital. That was when it dawned on me that my husband couldn’t have been that involved in Lisa’s pregnancy if he wasn’t part of it himself. I was furious but had my wits around me. This wasn’t the time for being confrontational. My sister wanted a baby so badly she didn’t mind getting one from my husband! And where did Lekan feature in all this? The poor man was virtually floating on air when Lisa got pregnant. He was relieved that his sperm count wasn’t too low to father a child.

"So what blow would I be dealing him by telling him the truth? And what about my marriage that was now on shaky grounds, would my ‘True confession’ save it?

"From then on, I knew I had no marriage – all I’m determined to do now is look after my children and see them to adulthood. I hate my sister to the point I could kill her. But then, I’d slept with her husband too. If I were in her shoes, would I do the same? – Her daughter even looked like one of mine when Lisa had her baby. Thank goodness it wasn’t a boy that would look like my husband.

Heavens only know how many controversial births exist all over the world...”

Meet Pastor Who Predicted Prince Abubakar Audu’s Death

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire and Miracles Ministries, based in Auchi, Edo State has revealed in a chat with Vanguard how he predicted Late Audu Abubakar’s death, that of mama HID Awolowo, a plane crash and many more.

He said he also told people around him that bombings will resume in Borno, but they felt with the coming of President Buhari it will stop, but he said no, it won’t stop because God says it is not yet time.

Read his revelations below...

Apart from evangelising around the world, you are also noted for fore-telling events. Among the several you have foretold, can you tell us few?
I want to start with the latest, and that was the death of Abubakar Audu in the Kogi State election. I was at a crusade in our Houston Texas branch on November 7, 2015, when God revealed to me that a popular politician in Nigeria could die in the middle of an election. I told the nation.

Then there was the event on September 20, 2015 when I said I saw that there was going to be fresh bombings in Borno and I asked Nigerians to go into prayer. Many had believed that with the coming of President Muhammadu Buhari to power, the Boko Haram bombings were going to stop but God said not yet. Also, on Sunday October 25, 2015, I told the world that I saw an aircraft of a foreign nation crashing with no casualty. That later happened to be Dynamic Airways which caught fire but no life was lost. All the events where these prophecies were announced were aired live on our ministry’s Celebration TV. On May 29, 2015, God spoke through me and I said it that the Buhari government would fight churches. Not long after, the Kaduna State governor, El-Rufai, shut down a church in Kaduna.

This particular warning was repeated on August 28 and September 6, 2015. On June 26 and July 6, 2015, I foresaw fire outbreak and buildings collapse in Lagos, which came to pass. On that same June 26, I warned of an inferno at Onitsha market, which also came to pass, because people ignored these warnings and refused to seek God’s face over them.

Also, I’m the first man of God that foresaw the demise of Mrs. HID Awolowo. During the September Fire and Miracle Night, I did warn of the impending death of a prominent female figure that will touch the nation.

Lady is Confused - She's in a Bad Marriage; Former Love Who Recently Lost His Wife Wants Her Back Badly

Please post only comments that are useful, helpful, constructive and practical.
I am 32 and presently in a very bad marriage. I got married in 2008. There is this guy in my church I knew before I ever thought of meeting hubby, who has been a very good friend (platonic ), though he wanted a relationship back then but because I was very young and scared of my parents, I rejected him.
He wanted a relationship with me again during my UNI days but I refused cause he looks like a playboy to me. 2 years back, he started pressurizing me for a relationship again, though he lives abroad.
Unfortunately, he lost his wife in January, and for the past 4 months he has been disturbing me to leave hubby for him. Matter of fact, I'm beginning to have feelings for him but I'm so scared. Remember I said he looked like play boy to me back then cause he is too handsome.
I need mature advise on this as I don't know if I can cope with him or just stay put with hubby and keep on hoping for the best.

This Naija Lady Is Suffering In The Hands of "Spirit" Husband

I met my ex-boyfriend in NYSC camp five years ago and it didn't take me long to fall in love with him. After camp, we posted to different areas but it didn't stop us from making out time to see each other at least three times a month. In these times we stayed together, we made love regularly but i never once got pregnant despite the fact that we never used protection.

One day, he asked me if I was dating someone else? I was shocked and denied it. He then told me that a man was always visiting him in the dream and warning him to stay away from me, that I was his wife. I was forced to confess to him that I had a spirit husband which was always troubling me, but because I had not seen him in my dreams, I just assumed that he was no longer interested in me.

My ex laughed and told me that i shouldn't worry, that nothing was going to separate us...

Sadly, they were mere words. Five years on, I am still single while he has married someone else and i have no suitor. My ex keeps telling me that he didn't know exactly why we broke up, but it just happened.
The day we broke up, for the first time in years, I saw the spirit husband clearly. He was smiling and he said to me, "you think you found love?"

I swear with all I hold dear that what I am saying is the truth. 5 years on I have no suitor, and for some strange reason the ones that come don't stay. I have had a few relationships but once I have s*x with them, I lose interest in the men, or vice versa. I know it is wrong to fornicate so i have stopped because sin feeds this spirit husband demon.

Please, I don't know if you guys can recommend a good prayer house. I have tried MFM and have gone to prayer city several times but the problem is still there.

I am so depressed and I need help because I don't know why God is keeping silent.

- I think this lady's problem need to be traced to the source and properly dealt with. Really sad!

Female Ex-Naval Officer Escapes Rape Attack In Ekiti

The police authority in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, have arrested three persons in connection with a robbery attack on a retired United States Naval officer, Mrs. Titilope Ayeni-Are.

She had just arrived Nigeria from the US after being away for over 12 years. She was due to resume her new job as a lecturer in one of the tertiary institutions in the state when the incident occurred.

The first robbery attack occurred on Sunday, August 9 when burglars invaded her residence at Charity Street, behind Petim Sawmill, Adehun, Ado Ekiti, the state capital, while she was away in church between 9.15 am and 1.45pm. Before her arrival, valuable items including three laptops, two DVD players, three mobile phones and a modem had been stolen.

Policemen recovered a bunch of keys with which the robbers gained access into the house.

According to Punch, three days later, when she visited the Ado Ekiti office of Etisalat to retrieve her stolen line, she was told the line was still being used, which prompted her request for the call log.

Investigation revealed that the most frequent caller of the line was one Funke Adenowo, a cleaner at First Bank, Opopogboro Branch, suspected to be the girlfriend of one of the burglars.

Following investigations, police later arrested two brothers, Bode and Wale Fakorede as well as one Segun, who came from Ibadan to buy two of the three stolen laptops.

Wale and Bode were granted bail after they were arraigned before an Ado Ekiti Magistrate’s Court.

After their bail, Wale reportedly led another robbery attack on the house on November 24, where he attacked Ayeni-Are with a machete. The suspect was said to have attempted to rape her also before police intervention.

She said, “My five-year-old son was with me at the time. Wale, who led the other gang members I could not identify, told me to look at him very well. He said he planned to kill me. I was left in the pool of my blood, after which he went to ransack the bedrooms.

“He went back to switch on the generator and asked about where I kept money, my ATM card and PIN number. He asked about my husband and I told him that he was in America. He asked from my son where his father was and my son told him that his dad is in America.

“He asked for my car keys, particularly that of a Pathfinder SUV, I told him that I didn’t have any such vehicle. He asked about the three laptops, which were earlier stolen, I replied that I had given them out. He then removed my necklace.

“He asked me if I knew where they sent him after the first attack, I told him that it was the court that sent him there. He said that throughout the time, he never had the opportunity of enjoying sex and that it was now an opportunity to do it with me.

“The other accomplice, whom he came with, kicked against what he intended to do but he threatened him. He said he would do it right in front of my son for him (my son) to see the action.

“He ordered me to go back to the bedroom and unzipped his trousers and it was in that process that my phone rang. He dragged me out of the house to the back door and dragged me to a well. He attempted to throw me inside the well.

“When I fell off the well, he pinned me to the wall and in the course of the struggle, a rope and the cloth with which he gagged me removed and I screamed ‘O ti pa mi o, oti pa mi o’ (He has killed me, he has killed me).

“I ran towards the gate but unknown to me, my neighbours had already called the police.”

The suspects were later arrested.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Alberto Adeyemi, said the Department of Criminal Investigations in the state, had swung into action and started an investigation into the case.

Adeyemi said, “Yes, I am aware of the case. We are still investigating the incident and it is being handled by the DCI after the case was transferred from the Oke-Ila Police Station which conducted preliminary investigations.

“The investigation is still ongoing and when we conclude our investigation, the suspects involved will be charged to court.”
