Read What Pastor Bakare Has To Say About Asiwaju Tinubu

This cannot be denied tomorrow by anyone because it's an interview with PM News in Lagos. Read:

When we look at the campaign of PMB, we saw Asiwaju Tinubu as his backbone, he played a leading role in the emergence of Buhari as President. Recently in the church, I heard I wasn’t there, that you attacked Jonathan and Tinubu and when I look at your comment on Tinubu, I see that you always attack him, I want to ask, why?
Well, you told me you were not there, hearsay evidence are not feasible in court. Since you were not there, I would have asked you to go listen to the tape and come back because sometimes what looks like an attack is truth.

Why would I attack Asiwaju? Talking of politics, he has paid his dues...

People were not there when I preached the message and that really celebrated Tinubu. That he single handedly fought the PDP to a standstill in the southwest. I sent him the tape. Do you understand me? Again this is our society, the moment you focus on issues, they reduce it to personalities. May I ask you the question maybe that would throw light on areas that you call criticisms by those who do not know the difference between critique and a negative comment. Shall I pray for you that your children will not be greater than you? Will you say amen to that. So if God has used you to facilitate the emergence of someone who now performs better than you, shouldn’t you be happy.

My mother is a happy woman, she didn’t go to school but she sent me. And today she is at peace with herself that she has worked hard and worked well and I give her the honour. You may never meet my mother but you have met the letter she has written to the world. It not a letter written with ink and pen. Do you understand me. I don’t have any problem with Asiwaju. On 3rd of November 2014 I was in Asiwaju’s house and I said to him ‘Asiwaju, there are only four things left that I am pursuing in this world, and none of them is in your hands, my mother is 106, her prayer is that I should survive her and give her a befitting burial.

Asiwaju, can you guarantee my being alive to do that?’ he said he can’t. No 2: ‘Asiwaju, I want to stay in health while waiting to give my mother a befitting burial, can any human being guarantee that?’ Nobody. I have five children by the grace of God, I want them to be greater than I am, and I don’t want them to go before me, ‘can you guarantee that?’

And finally I said I want to make heaven at the end, and to hear, ‘good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of the Lord your God’ can you guarantee that? he can’t. So why the basis of competition, what I am looking for is not in your hand. Am not looking for power, I am not looking for position, I am not looking for appointment. Can’t you understand that? I have never done contract in my life.

So there is no basis for attacking Asiwaju except in the figment of the imagination of some people. But something touched me, and when matters are brought to me, I look at some of them, I take them all, sometimes I don’t bother myself because you must not fight every battle and lose the world.

Secret Arms Deal: EFCC arrests ex-minister, ex-governor's son

The EFCC’s Special Task Force on the alleged $2bn arms procurement scandal probe on Monday stepped up its tempo with the arrest of a former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda.

The anti-graft agency also arrested the son of a former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa, and the son of a former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Haliru Bello, who is also a former Minister of Defence in the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Investigations revealed that the former minister was picked up in Abuja by men of the 27-member task force on the arms probe set up by the new Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu.

He was taken to the Idiagbon House Headquarters of the commission by 4pm on Monday. He was still in interrogation for alleged complicity in the arms procurement deal as of the time of posting.

A top operative of the commission said the ex-minister of state was picked up because operatives allegedly traced N1.5bn to him.

He was also said to have received N1.275bn from the Stallion Group during the last general elections.

The source added that the commission arrested Sagir Bafarawa, a son of the former Sokoto State Governor, Attahiru Bafarawa, for allegedly receiving N4.6m from the Office of the National Security Adviser at that time, Col. Sambo Dasuki.

It was learnt that the operatives decided to go after the junior Bafarawa because of the belief that he acted as a front for his father in the arms deals under probe.

According to PUNCH, Haliru Mohammed's son, Abba, got N600m in the name of BAM Properties.

It was learnt that the operatives arrested a former Director, Finance and Administration of the ONSA, an employee of the Nigeria Intelligence Agency, for alleged disbursement of funds from the office.

Investigation revealed that the EFCC had commenced moves to arrest Haliru Bello and Bafarawa allegedly in connection with the funds traced to their children.

The source said, “Today, the commission stepped up the investigation into thearmsgate and arrested former Minister of State, Bashir Yuguda. He was arrested in Abuja and taken to the commission’s headquarters by 4pm today.

“He is being interrogated for complicity in the arms deal; he received N1.5bn through an unnamed firm for unclear reasons.

‘The operatives are also of the view that he received another N1.275bn from the Stallion Group during the campaign for the last general elections.”

Pastor marries pregnant girlfriend with wife’s blessing(Photos)

A 60-year-old pastor has married his 19-year-old girlfriend with the full support of his 44-year-old wife - and now his teen bride is pregnant.Thom Miller, is now building a new house in their hometown of Mansfield, Ohio, with one wing for each wife.

Belinda, 44, and Reba, 19, claim to both be perfectly happy with a life of polygamy, but Reverend Miller stresses that he is the only person in their relationship allowed to have more than one partner
The whole situation works for all three of us,” Thom Miller told Barcroft Media.

“I am the only one who is allowed to have more than one partner — and both of my wives understand and appreciate that.“It means they always have a friend with them.”
Miller met his 19-year-old gal pal, Reba Kerfootruba, seven years after he married his wife, Belinda.
“I wanted to have more of a family — having another lady in the house not only makes our family whole but individually it’s a beautiful thing because it’s like having a sister around,”
 Belinda said.
“Thom is the love of my life and Reba is the blessing of my life, so it all works.”
Reba said her arrangement with a married couple initially troubled her family and friends, but now they support her.She admitted that she doesn’t love sharing her man with another woman.
“But I try not to get jealous and when it’s not my time with Thom, I just try to occupy myself by going out with friends,” Reba told Barcroft. “The baby will have two moms, which I’m okay with.”
And while Miller’s ladies are both on board with their love triangle, his church in Mansfield, Ohio, isn’t.
“I don’t preach about polygamy, but I feel it’s a very Christian lifestyle,”“This is America and my wives and I have a right to live any way we please, providing we’re not hurting anybody.”We just want the opportunity to live together and have our marriages recognized,” he said.
Miller turned to Christianity after he spent seven years in jail for stabbing someone during a bar fight following years as a member of the mob, according to the news outlet.

Masked Gunmen Abduct Suspect from Police Station in Lagos

The whereabouts of a 26-year-old man, Waidi Kabiru, had been a mystery since Sunday, November 23, after he was reportedly whisked away from the custody of the Igbogbo Police Station in Lagos State by a three-man gang wearing mask.

The three gang members, who put on masks, sneaked into the station around 1am on Sunday and bundled him out of the cell to an unknown place.

According to Punch report, Waidi, a musician, was arrested by a team of policemen who raided Shelewu Road, in the Ikorodu area of the state on Friday, November 21.

The state police command confirmed Waidi’s arrest, but said he had been released on bail. The command, however, did not disclose the surety to whom the youth was released.

Waidi’s father, Mr. Bisiriyu Kabiru, said he had been visiting his son since Friday when he was arrested, adding that he had gone to the station to give him food on Sunday only to be told that he was no longer inside the cell.

He said, “He called me on the phone around 9am on Friday that he was arrested during a raid and I went to the station to see him. One of the policemen I met asked me how much I had to bail him out and I said N4,000. But he told me it wasn’t enough and I left. I later came back with N5,000, but I was told that the DPO had taken over the case.

“On Saturday, I brought food for him (Waidi) at the station and was there till the evening, trying to secure his bail. When I got there on Sunday to give him food, the policemen at the counter said he had gone out with the DPO. But I was not allowed to see the DPO. I later learnt that he was whisked out of the cell early Sunday morning by three men who were masked. It was on Monday that I decided to inform his mother.”

Waidi’s mother, Karimat Adebanbi, said she went to the station on Monday and was shown a register containing details of suspects.

According to her, the record reads that Waidi was nabbed during a raid, but had been released.

The mother said the policemen directed her to the DPO when she demanded to know the person that stood as a surety for him. She added that her efforts to meet with the DPO were frustrated by his men.

She said, “The policemen I met at the station called my son from the cell, but nobody answered. They checked the register and saw his name there, indicating that he had been released on bail. I asked them who stood as a surety for him, but they refused to tell me. They told me to look for him at his friends’ houses. We don’t know his whereabouts and his number is switched off.

“I went to the station again on Thursday and Saturday to see the DPO; they said he was not around. I called him several times before he picked his call. He said he was somewhere and told me to wait. I waited for hours but he did not come back.”

The family had also petitioned the state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, through an activist, Prince Akinsemoyin, to investigate Waidi’s disappearance from the cell.

The petition also requested the CP to quiz the DPO and policemen involved in the case to by all means find out the circumstances surrounding the man’s disappearance.

Would You Change Your Religion For Love?

If it came down to love, would you change your religion?

A lot of people face this issue in their relationship, and it’s such a touchy subject so most people sweep it under the rug.
The most difficult thing to do while in love is to leave your love for what you love.
When we’re born we don’t know what we believe in, our parents teach us and raise us to believe in what they think we should believe in so its natural for us to follow this same path once we grow up.
I have a friend that is in a relationship with someone that has a different religion then her, she doesn’t want their future children to believe in what he believes in so she’s faced with the decision to stay or leave.
What would you do if this were you? If this was me I don’t know what I would do, do I leave the love of my life because we have different views or do I stay and live a different lifestyle from him.
