Pastor Arrested After Police Recover Seven Stolen Vehicles In His Church

Wahala dey oh! Pastor Felix Otulukwu has been arrested and charged before Igbosere magistrate’s court in Lagos after the police allegedly discovered 7 suspected stolen vehicles parked in his church.

The estimated value of the stolen vehicles found in the church was over N30million. The police say Pastor Felix opened a church in Agbor, Delta State, and was using the premises to hide stolen vehicles which he reworked and sell to unsuspecting people.

Unfortunately for Pastor Felix, he was exposed by someone close to him...
According to PM News, his arrest and arraignment came after his manager informed the police at Zone 2 of his alleged activities of using his church premises as park for selling stolen vehicles.

Following the report, the police went into the church and recovered the seven stolen vehicles.

Among the vehicles recovered from Pastor Felix include 2 Toyota Hilux worth Over N15m. 2 Toyota Camry worth N3m, Toyota Hiace bus worth N15m and Toyota High lander worth N3m.

The police alleged that in February 2015, the Pastor and others conspired and stole a Camry car at 24 Ondo street in Oke-Ira area of Ogba, Lagos, which belonged to one Emmanuel Imo and escaped.

The police also alleged that Pastor Felix sometime in February 2015 at Demeru road in Ketu did receive a suspected stolen Toyota hilux and other vehicles worth millions of naira.

To conceal the fraudulent act, he allegedly presented some documents which the police, during investigation discovered to be fake.

When Pastor Felix was arraigned, he pleaded not guilty despite all the evidence against him.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs S. K. Matepo granted him bail in the sum of N1m with two sureties in like sum. He was remanded in prison custody at Ikoyi pending when he will meet his bail.

The case has been adjourned to December 9, 2015, for trial.
